Trained at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Broadway Dance Centre in New York City, Shari Matz has appeared in film, stage, theater, and television. A longstanding member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild), Shari exudes a sophisticated pageantry panache combined with a models elegant finesse. All who meet and work with Shari are touched by her beauty that radiates out from within. Children love Shari as is evidenced by her work as a mentor with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, a volunteer with Junior League and as a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. As Education Director of the Boys and Girls Club of America, Shari helped implement programs for career development and created initiatives to strengthen character and leadership. As an event planner working with children, Shari helped facilitate an array of special programs in prestigious private preparatory schools including World Cultural Diversity Day, Earth Day, World Press Freedom Day and World Habitat Day as well as philanthropy - soirées, galas and special events for causes serving the community.
Outstanding academic credentials include a Masters Degree issued from Georgia Southern University in Public Administration, a teaching degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Armstrong Atlantic University in Communication Arts. Shari is a Florida Supreme Court Mediator and was Director of Human Services for a very active public relations firm in Miami Florida. She has substantial business management experience with proven ability to interface with people on all levels. Her superb communication and interpersonal skills have launched her in the public speaking arena which allows her to expound on the Four Pillars of Humanity: Compassion, Empathy, Humility and Kindness.
